Wild PEaches and Sparkling Wine...

The dream of something unlikely has its own special name. It's called hope. Yet our courage for life's journey so often falters because we've lost our hope for heaven.

It's wierd but so wonderful how God is slowly opening doors for me to discover where my ministry lies...

Last week, my old dance teacher (Jewel) from HCJC messaged me out of the blue to ask me if I was interested in joining her dance class. It came as a nice surprise for I've been wanting to start dance classes again for awhile, but just hadn't had the money or time to visit the dance schools around and make my choice. Anyway, I went down for her class last night... and I realised that my teacher was actually leading a team of christian dancers to perform an item for Sonic Fest and Dance Collective. Good stuff!

Plus her training was no joke.. lots of ballet techniques and challenging skills involved. As I was sweating and executing the movements last night, for a moment... I felt alive again. It's been so long since I've had so much fulfilment from dancing. After I got so disillusioned with secular dancing in school back in '03.. things have never quite recovered.

I know God is starting something here.. I dunno wat yet. But I will trust. Pastor Joe has approached me and Peishan about starting a dance ministry in SJSM. He spoke about reclaiming the arts for God. My heart skipped a beat when he said that.

Reclaiming the Arts for God!

That's the rhythm of my heart for this year.. and I will let God conduct this particular symphony.
