A Tribute to love....

"that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,
in whom are hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
Colossians 2:2-3


It is so easy to love someone that is loveable, and so easy to bestow affection and attention to those who are naturally endearing. But what about the majority of the world that is unloved and lost? Many are bitter, many are imperfect, many have flaws that irk us, and many do not seem to deserve the time and care we have limited supply of.
or do they?

Can we bring ourselves to love those who have hurt us time and again with their imperfections?
Seriously think about this......
Often, we go around as if the world owes us something: we deserve this, we deserve that. It's my right that i should get this, it's my right that i should be loved the way i want to be.

Now can you see how utterly incredible and amazing it is... that God could actually love us UNCONDITIONALLY?
Well.. i sure am, because He has been showing me that the love i've been giving to people is so flawed, and so Conditional.

I wanna strive to be like the God who loves me though i was undeserving, and to not let expectations and judgemental sentiments cloud my view of people.
