Wild PEaches and Sparkling Wine...

The dream of something unlikely has its own special name. It's called hope. Yet our courage for life's journey so often falters because we've lost our hope for heaven.

My soul rejoices because my God hears my cry for release.
Sunday was.... simply said, a miracle!
And indeed you are right - He did lift a huge burden from our hearts at Starbucks that day.

Thank you Lord for allowing things to unfold the way they did.
2007 is finally starting, and i'm glad for the friendship that's still there, if not deepened because of what has happened.

Paul says it best in Philippians 3:
12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

I do not know what lies ahead, and perhaps I don't dare to hope too much. But i'll place my desires at the foot of the cross, Jesus. And choose to simply honour you in all that I do. It was stupid thinking I could quench my desires and hopes by taking drastic actions. I could have simply left it to you to handle, Lord. And I know you will. Thank you Father.
